Risk Identification for Suicidal Experiences
By partnering with youth and community stakeholders, the RISE project aims to identify unique risks and protective factors that contribute to suicidal ideation in youth.
To be eligible, participants must self-identify as Black/African-American, be between the ages of 13-17, have current suicide ideation with no suicide attempt history, or have a recent suicide attempt with current suicide ideation.
To tailor therapy interventions for youth experiencing stress and mood concerns, we provide 8-12 therapy sessions in both individual and group-based settings. For their complete participation, participants receive a $50 gift card.
To be eligible for individual and group therapy services, participants must self identify as Black/African-American, be between the ages of 14-17, and endorse experiencing mood concerns or increased stress.
Learning Experiences And Perspectives
The LEAP study is an approximately 60-minute study that involves youth completing online questionnaires about their experiences with mood concerns and stress. For their complete participation, participants receive a $25 gift card.
To be eligible for the LEAP study, participants must self identify as Black/African-American, be between the ages of 14-17, and endorse having experienced mood concerns or increased stress.
